Impeachment should only be used when an elected official is caught cheating his/her way into office. Otherwise it's disrespecting the will of the people
Yep, that's what the Democrats said back during the Clinton impeachment, isn't it? They also said that the "high crimes and misdemeanors" provision meant clear evidence of treason, or some unspecified other offense on a similar plane (guess their view had "evolved" since they tried to remove Nixon for allegedly trying to "cover up" a "second-rate" political burglary he may not have known about). Because of the Pelosi comment ("impeachment off the table"), the Demos won't move to impeachment right away, but they will go on a fishing expedition, and anything that smells remotely "impeachable" (by newly redefined, and "re-evolved" standards) will be referred for action. Anything deemed "non-impeachable", but potentially embarrassing, will simply be released to the MSM (regardless of security classification).
