Unless I missed something these are just 'sour grapes'.
No right minded conservative would notice anything different.

Michelle Smith wrote this piece as if Chafee leaving the Republican party is a bad thing. Michelle, honey Chafee wasn't a Republican in the first place, and he sure as he11 wasn't a conservative in the second place.

If he would leave tomorrow, we could get Bolton out of committee and to the floor of the Senate, because we'd knock Chafee off the committee and we'd have a 1-vote margin. That way Chafee doesn't have to change his vote.
Then we just need to get the democrats who realise Bolton is doing a good job to vote not to filibuster, and Bolton can get the job we all need him to do.

This sorry excuse for a man is every Dad's worst nightmare.
How did John Chaffee ever get stuck with this kid?
To: marc costanzo
Personally, I think it would be great for America if Chafee has a stroke and dies. Therefore, from this moment on, I will constantly beseech God to grant me this favor.

BRAVO! The idiot was never a Republican anyway and the Senate Republicans wasted millions on this covert left-wing fascist.

Uhh, John Chafee was pretty damn liberal too. Maybe not quite as liberal as his son, but pretty liberal.
However, he was also was loyal and a team player whenever he could be. He certainly was better then his son, but he wasn't exactly great on ideology.

More like a news pundit future. I wouldn't be surprised if Linc joins Buchanan and Scarbourgh to bash Bush on MSNBC.

I predicted before the election that this would happen and I was told that there was no way. Fortunately, he's not around after January anyway, so who cares about him?
