On September 10, 2003 in Prague at the International Conference on Education for a Sustainable Future, the United Nations declared 2005 through 2015, "The Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)." To nobody's surprise, the UN also named UNESCO (United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) as the lead agency for this global effort. The official launch ceremony took place on March 1, 2005 in New York City.1

Few Americans paid attention. They should have.

So basically the Socialists who have taken over the U.N. want to turn the whole world into one giant Socialist utopia by "re-educating" our children and...for anyone who refuses, ramming it down their throats?

Socialism, Communism, whatever you want to call it...has already been proven a failure.

The UNESCO plan for educating US children has been integrated into US public education. It's rooted in the public education system curriculums and many private school curriculums too. The UN is rooted in US education system. It has been for over a decade. With the past three Presidents' stamp of approval/assistance/support. Read the article.

Well, I entered the public education system in 1993. I guess this explains why I got to take world history twice in middle school instead of taking civics class.

Oh, I'm all for tossing out their seditious and evil carcasses (Paris could be the new UN home - sans US participation). However, both parties aren't interested in this approach. The RATs want UN control of our lives - in fact, they happily implement whatever global initiatives they can to integrate our nation into the world community. The Pubbies, OTOH, aren't shy about doing the same. Friend Nixon put the ESA onto our backs along with a ton of international strings now coming into play with environmentalist issues. He also gave us the EPA also busily stripping away property rights. Since then, we haven't had truly anti-UN and pro-American leadership except through Jesse Helms. Republicans may talk tough, but they're right there when the cash drawer is opened and the budget needs of global communism are doled out.

Hey folks. Global governance is a reality that has been in the works for decades. Many people are very unhappy with Bush for getting us back into UNESCO, a corrupt global socialist UN organization that Reagan refused to fund.

Conservatives really need to pound their representatives and senators to get us out of the UN. Also, the North American Union is modeled after the Christian hating EU.

One of the significant factors contributing to GOP defeat is the realization that something is radically wrong with a government that support the TTC, NAU and LOST.

Are they globalists willing to sell off our sovereignty? It would appear so.

Conservatives should be militantly protective of our sovereignty and they should fight the NAU and all treaties that push us toward global governance.
