Mehlman's foisting Rudy Giuliani on the party was a singular reason for the debacle. Mehlman touted Rudy as a "great campaigner," sending him out to campaign for all those Republicans----who all went down to defeat.

And now the Ken-Doll takes a vacation and runs straight to the Rudy Rudy Rudy campaign.

What a tidy operation.

It's gonna take some bigtime manipulation to get the Rudy/Kenny 2008 show off the ground. Last Tuesday, conservatives disgusted with the plot to co-opt them, gave Rudy/Kenny the back of their hand.
