Here we go, the Demagogues like Teddy the Swimmer are already off conducting their own personal version of foreign policy. I guess Teddy is having flashbacks to when he tried secret negotiate a surrender in the Cold War to Andropov, seeking to spur the USSR to a more coordinated propaganda campaign between the Demagogues and the Comintern.

... and the overreaching begins... These Democrats are making the same basic mistake that was made by Newt Gingrich: they mistakenly believe that a Speaker can replace the primacy of the President & Chief Executive of the opposite party. Ted, why don't you ask Newt how that worked for him?

Kennedy doesn't actually mean Europe per se, he means his social democrats are going to consult with their social democrats. That's how ruling classes operate.

Bush will pay a deep price for not revealing the goods on France as pay back for Iraq.

Democrats will run this "Europe" idea as a place superior to us and which we must listen to and has no self-interests different than are own.

I don't have a problem with keeping our allies in the loop on our foreign policy. That doesn't mean they get to define it. And that doesn't mean we share classified info with them.

Europe will be kept more in the loop about U.S. foreign policy after mid-term elections which swept away Republican control of Congress, senior Democratic party member Senator Edward Kennedy said on Thursday.

Someone should remind Ted that only the President can conduct foreign policy. Last time I checked, he had not been elected to that post.

"Kennedy is in Italy to attend 40th anniversary commemorations of the 1966 floods that devastated parts of the city ... "

Kennedy and rising water, finally, something he can claim expertise in.

Kennedy, the Democratic senator for Massachusetts and the younger brother of former President John F. Kennedy

oh and what else is he....and a man who leaves a woman to drown in his car while drunk...

the only reason they are asking europe is they are bankrupt of ideas themselves

The Congress does not control foreign policy. Someone should enlighten Kennedy that Bush is still president.

Well...since Kennedy was working with the Russians AGAINST Reagan....I am sure he DOES want Europe more in the loop.

In fact, I will be surprised if he doesn't want the US to have to take order from the EU..../s

Old Europe or New Europe, Ted? New Europe is not only "in the loop", but on our side, Swimmer Boy.
