Yes, amazing no voter complaints since the "won". Also how they want to end the partisan antics. Next we'll be hearing how great the economy is too.
hypocrits.

Bush wasn't on the ballot Tuesday, either, but no one can deny that Bush's desire for amnesty and open borders had a negative impact.

Anyway, Rush was just talking about congressional oversight as if that is an evil word.
Fact is, republicans should have been doing congressional oversight from DAY ONE, just like they did when Clinton was president.
By refusing to hold hearings (they actually did hold some hearings, but they did not keep the administration's feet to the fire), they gave an opening for the democrats to complain about lack of oversight, push their silly "checks and balances" story as if it's the PARTIES and not the INSTITUTIONS that provide it, and now they can be seen as the party of "oversight", simply by doing their job.
I think our republicans did get complacent, and spent their time doing what they thought would get them all re-elected.

Such a negative effect that it will come to pass soon.

How about some steak and eggs?
To: RoseofTexas
Hard to tell now because they got two years of politicking to go thru first but the indicators are good.
They ran in 2006 as "Conservative Democrats" against the corrupt Republican machine. Now they got to rule that way.
I do not think they can. Also a strong Presidential Candidate will make a huge difference

That was mature. I'm sure your parents are pleased with all that time they put into manners and common courtesy.

If I am not mistaken McCain voted AGAINST the tax cuts initially. When he was open about running for President he then flip flopped and said he was for the tax cuts.

Since I don't live that far from the WTC I have a little different perspective on the consequences of this republican loss.
