I thought he was good sometimes, mediocre a lot -- and horrible the rest of the time! Unfortunately, I didn't hear the show with the quote in question; it sounds as if it would have been one I'd like! ;-)

And I don't think that remark should have been a firing offense, thought.

I agree. I didn't hear it either but Jay Severin can be a lot more offensive.
