As usual, I voted straight ticket on Tuesday. I have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with this president, even in tough times (Harriet Miers). I will continue to stand with my brother, the President, but it has been a hard couple of days and, over the top posts notwithstanding, we are all just venting a bit.
In fact, if people are looking for the REAL culprits it is the minions in Congress who betrayed us!! The gang of 14! Denny Hastert practically pardoning William Jefferson. No leadership. Nothing done. Bridges to nowhere!!
Seriously, what damage did the gang of 14's agreement do? Aren't you HAPPY we still have filibuster power? And got two solid conservatives confirmed while we had the chance?
You think this is hard-- try being a soldier or the father or mother of a soldier and having to watch this pathetic whining and wondering if even the sane Americans are still on the side of the Commander in Chief.
