Dems have no problem pleasing their base and still win elections. And their base is flat nuts. Why?

But they also run to the center and pick up the moderates. If half of the people who vote for them knew what they really stand for they would lose. The dems win because they run to the center. We lose cause we don't want our guys to stray.
