Well thank you Mr. President.

President Bush should have announced Rummy was gone sooner.

Pride comes before a fall. This is the fall of those who were arrogant and thought they had it all.

They have nobody to blame but themselves.

I for one hope for SERIOUS change in Washington. WE ARE ALL FED UP WITH THE POLITICS AND CRAP.

"President Bush should have announced Rummy was gone sooner."

Stay the course!

BTW, didn't his father lose an election on that same slogan?

Oh, that would have worked.

Rummy resigning now is him simply taking one for the team. The WH will have enough on its hands without Rumsfeld being target practice everyday. That is all.

Go to bed, silentknight.

Reread your words in the morning and you'll realize the awful enormity of what you have said.

Bush giving Rumsfeld the axe prior to the election probably would have led to the same result. It would have indicated that he believed the Iraq policy was a failure and given further talking points to the other side.

I agree that Rumsfeld should not have resigned the day after the election, but I seriously doubt that an earlier resignation would have done anything different politically.

Personally, I'm going to miss him.

If you're putting your faith in Dems, then you've back the wrong horse, Johnny.

President Bush's announcement has NOTHING to do with this. Don't be dumb.

It was the Libertarian vote that handed the country over to the far left. Place the blame where it lies.
