I didn't offer my vote because the GOP didn't ask for it. My not voting was my say. Would you rather I went to the polls and voted for a Democrat?

It used to be with us conservatives, that we were patriots first, and so we voted for Republicans. Now we think voting for Republicans automatically MAKES us patriots. This is the road to tyranny, when we make ourselves the property of a political party, rather than the political party the property of us.

Well, I was just getting my spitball ready . . . ;)

You made me laugh, but you also made me realize I am pretty darn mad at those who were, shall we say politely, short-sighted.

We lost because the Republican Congress/Senate, of the past few years, didn’t speak up for the President. They didn’t stand up and defend the President, the War or policies. The RNC didn’t do much with campaigns. The campaigns were awful. This economy is excellent, the gas prices, employment and the market. They should have been out there bringing these points home. Good people like Santorum lost because of his fellow Congress/Senate.

The last few years the Congress and the Senate have been silent while the libs and the media pounded their points/propaganda. Then throw in a few scandals of republicans, the MSM covered for days. I hardly heard a peep from them any of them on the Hill. They did it to themselves.

Applause!

Ouch! I feel my paycheck shrinking already!

Wonder what the stock market will do in the next few months.

Libs will attack business and the wealthy, and they know it.

Money is beginning to move out of the general economy now, lest it be stolen amd redistributed to liberal voter causes.

Watch for next boom business:

1. Human embryos for cash ?
2. Cadillac's for the "poor" ?
3. Slave reparation check advance outlets?

Last I heard, Allen has NOT conceded and neither has Conrad Burns in MT. Wonder if the Press has jumped the gun a little. I hope both of those Senators hold out until every vote has been counted!

On a couple of threads (House Democrats plan Iraq withdrawal, and Dems Pledge to Scrutinize Big Business) the AP reported that DemocRATs are going to:

Ok, this is not a rhetorical question and I it may sound stupid, but just exactly how can a biased news organization (AP) call an election and declare a winner?

Cut and run in Iraq, impeachment proceedings, military budget cuts, abdication and appeasement in the war on terror, tax cut rollbacks, open borders with Mexico, assault weapons ban, the end of the Patriot Act, we are well and truly screwed.

If this country survives two more years, we can compare Liberal promises with actual results, and I seriously doubt they will have done anything they promised to do. That means Hillary will face an uphill battle, but we have to get there first.

Canned food, bottled water and duct tape, things are headed down the sewer fast.

This is what happens when you have a congress full of RINOs who decided that they could just sit back, act like quasi-liberals, and play business-as-usual politics. They abandoned their base when they decided to approach the war on terrorism in a half-assed manner, refuse to enforce our nation's immigration laws, and repeatedly introduce illegal alien amnesty scam bills to Congress and euphemistically call them "guest worker plans" and "immigration reform". Throwing up your hands, giving up, and deciding that just legalizing them is pure madness.

Damn I hate having Pelosi and Co. in charge, but having a bunch of RINOs running things is every bit as frustrating.
