UNemployment is at 4.4% this is far lower than the average over the last 30 years. It's amazingly low.

No, it's not. It's a better economy than the 'bubble' economy of the 1990s.
We have very strong economy that is benefitting all Americans, and it takes evasion of many economic facts to pretend otherwise.
You are completely wrong to suggest that free trade and/or Republican policies are to 'blame', when in fact the opposite is true:
- Republican policies helped create 6 million jobs in the current boom, with the Bush tax cuts
- free trade is increasing export opportunities, and our GDP growth has been the highest of OECD nations (compare with Japan and Europe).
- productivity is higher
- Manufacturing production is higher than ever.
All this negativity about the economy is disturbing example of the success of media bias and mindless economic populism; that has hammered home phony 'solutions' to economic 'problems' (such as 'our jobs are going overseas') that are massively hyped up.
America has benefitted from being able to export products; free trade helps us.

Tony Snow wasn't hired until it was way too late, and by then the perception of an inept economy had already been codified in the public eye.
Scott McClellan was simply awful, and in fact made the Administration look EVEN WORST in the eyes of the public.
Rick Santorum, in hindsight, should have abandoned his campaign theme of "imminent danger of terror" and instead proclaimed over and over and over the highest Dow index, lowest unemployment, and no attacks in the past five years under the GOP and Bush.
For some reason, the GOP thought THAT little tidbit was too political to repeat.
The Democrats are not so ethical when it comes to using any and every distortion during a campaign, no matter how smarmy or self serving.
I cant wait until an abortion related vote comes up in the Senate, or Casey is called on to vote yea or nay for a pro-Life Supreme Court candidate.
Either way he votes, I hope the GOP pundits have enough moxy to ram it down his deceptive throat in whatever manner possible.
Due to Casey's total PURPOSEFUL silence during the campaign, millions of DemocRat lib-fems voted for him thinking him to be Pro-Abortion.
And it's been said many Pennsylvanians accepted him because of his father's political positions.
In reality, he just aint THAT sharp of a guy, and has trouble speaking off the cuff, without a prepared speech.
Which is why he hid himself these past eight months.
Yeah, it will be interesting to see how he votes on abortion.
