my guess is Buchanan saw the way the republican cards were falling..into a socialism of corporations rich enough to contribute..lets get real..the drug plan was a way for big pharmaceuticals to subsidize their dope without competition to bring the price down, social security reform..a scheme to flood the market with tax dollars collected without making any investor culpable, bankruptcy reform, a way to make the payment to creditors higher without bringing them any additional woes
