The reason the Republicans became complacent, arrogant, and corrupt...the reason they did nothing to make the tax cuts permanent...or drill in ANWR...or do anything meaningful about illegal immigration...the reason for the Highway Bill, the Farm Bill, Campaign Finance, nothing on eminent domain...The real reason is because they were too busy feeding at the public trough!
