"I believe in a lot of issues we can find common ground and there's a significant difference between common ground and abandoning principles," the president said in a news conference a day after midterm elections in which Democrats gained control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

So is the prez going for an approval rating of 0?
Regardless, he needs to take a few days to calm down.

Afraid President Bush is ham-strung by the democrats for the next two years.....sure wish he had a spine against these rats.....
To: NJRighty
Great. Watch unemployment go from 4.4% to 8% in the next two years.
And enjoy all the new crime we've been missing without a minimum wage hike.

Yep...and I hope that all of the "LET'S TEACH THE GOP/BUSH A LESSON" crowd, are happy now.

Look for a lot of freepers to start supporting the minimum wage all of a sudden.
To: NJRighty
For his next State of the Union, why doesn't he just say, "Thank you Nancy. May I have another?"

Yes we must raise it so companies will hire cheaper illegals rather than legals. While we are at it, let`s also tax the shiet out of these companies as well. Oh yes, the Dimocrat nightmare begins!
