Failure to enforce a strong immigration policy is a major vote loser for the GOP.Which explains why those who did got thrown out unless they were in hypersafe gerrymandered districts.
It is us we have to fix
Well, that isn't going to happen. For the sake of this or that favored position, we have just lost the war on terror and stabbed our troops in the back for the second time in a generation. Yes, I dare call it treason.

So is it the treasonous voters who could not see the issues clearly, or the treasonous candidates who could not articulate the issues clearly enough to convince the voters?? The GOP lost because it could not accomplish what the voters wanted..win in IRAQ and move on war not continue to flounder, drill in Anwar not fail to develop it with a majority, reform social security not wimp out, conserve the nation's finances not spend all of it, enforce immigration laws not grant amnesty to illegals, the beat goes on...and by the way, some RINOs took hits and lost the Senate. I would say good riddance to Dewine and Chafee except that it removes the chance to continue to bring reason to the SCOTUS and that itself should have been an election issue but the GOP failed to make it one....Bottom Line: If you convince the voters that as the majority party in both houses and holding the WH you still cannot govern do not be surprised if they don't show up at the polls....
