"I thought the people understood about the importance of tax cuts and fighting the war on terror....but, the people have spoken".... I strongly support the President, but I can't understand why it has taken him so long to publicly acknowledge something that has been clear for six years. Ever since Ted Kennedy stabbed him in the back, Bush should have known that the Democrats were vile and persistent.

If he had any sense he wouldn't have needed that as a lesson
Had to be on another planet not to know what the DEMs were like
All he had to do was look what they did to his father
Back in 2000 in the primaries when he uttered that " Compassionate Conservatism BS ( his father had " A Kinder Gentler administration ) and then the "Backs of the Poor" BS I knew he wasn't close to being the leader we needed but I kept hoping he would change
Didn't happen
Wht is even worse is there is absolutely nobody on the horizon
Kiss the country goodbye
