It was the squishy-middle of the electorate, the ones who stand for literally NOTHING, that caved in to the "vote for change" crap that was spoon-fed to them by the dinosaur media. They are the ones to blame for this.
It's hard to blame the electorate when you don't give them anything to vote for. The Republicans squandered their lead by spending money like drunken sailors and not hammering home the successes we are having in Iraq. Don't blame the fans when the team loses the game.
