Oh Rats!

Older houses are most vulnerable to rats, but it's possible for them to crop up in just about any neighborhood. There are often large rat populations in the city, but apartment owners typically rarely see them since their landlords will typically take care of building maintenance, including unwelcome visitors. rats are more problematic to the average suburban homeowner. Here are some signs to look for to see if rats are living in or around your house:

Rat Sounds:

Rats are typically active at night. You might hear such indicators as the patter of paws, squeaks, or climbing sounds in the walls. Mice may also emit a little whistle.

Rat Odors: Rats lairs give off a noticeable pungent smell.

We've got a rat problem in my state & I called pest control, but they're afraid of the Senator and won't control the problem- Now the two houses are going to have a major rat problem too.

Indeed. The 'house' of Congress is well over 200 yrs old. Not surprising that there are so many vermin infesting the place, whether 2-legged or 4.

I live in New York.

We have had RATS here for YEARS!

EveryTIME we " Loyal Anti-Rat " supporters ASK for help in even HELPING with our Rat problem--we are told,

" Sorry..your RAT problem is WAY TOO BIG!!
But..all WE can do is Offer a "Sacrificial Lamb " to strut around attempting to " Pie-Pipe" the rats AWAY!--
But we CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY the Poor Jerk a PIPE EVEN!!
WHY waste the MONEY!!--

---want to Really have something done??--MOVE!! "

I'd do "something" MORE myself too-
Lord KNOWS That I have TRIED!! but I can't do it alone!

"Mr. Rat, I have a writ here says you're to stop eating Chin Lee's cornmeal forthwith. Now it's a rat writ, writ for a rat, and this is lawful service of the same....See, doesn't pay any attention to me."
