I used to live in Arizona and am well aware of what McLame is like. But Rudy's baggage is of a different nature, and I think that honestly could make him a tough sell in some areas. You are right though that it would be very hard to predict what exactly McCain would do given his, at times, schizophrenic nature.

McCain and Rudy are exactly the same on major social issues, if anything Rudy is better. Besides, I'm willing to bet there will be another terrorist strike on the US within the next two years. This loss will have emboldened the terrorists and they will take advantage of what they think is Bush's weakness.
