I have not posted this before because I thought the stakes were too high and was hoping for a pull-out by the republicans.
But the blame can be laid at the feet of Denny Hastert and House Ways and Means former Chairman Jerry Lewis of California. He is the one who put the biggest ear-marked bill in the History of Congress together and got it passed.
Remember the Bridge to No-where...it came out of his committee. A partnership deal with the Senate Finance Committee.
Being a fiscal conservative and strongly in favor of "pay as you go" this just rankled me. But looking across the aisle I saw only evil.
And now evil wins. They took over Berkely and now this evil has taken over the People's House!
Communists running the HOUSE! Because of moral cowards in the republican party!
If the public didn't like the "bridge to nowhere", then why did they vote FOR the Socialist, liberals, and Communists?
Could it be that they have no idea who they voted for? Are they ignorant of the platform of those they voted for?
And if so, why are they uniformed about who they voted for?
