as i've told several sad folks this AM, "well at least we got rid of a bunch of the yankee DEAD-heads". NONE of them (except Senator Rick Santorum. what on earth were the PA folks thinking??? WERE they thinking???) were what i would call CONSERVATIVE. (he, otoh, will be MISSED!)

i don't think they can do much damage in 2 years,with the senate still in our hands & with "W" having his veto pencil all sharpened up.

otoh, getting a STRONG slate of candidates for '08 (POTUS AND congress) is NECESSARY! the BATTLE for '08 starts NOW!

We all knew Bush was erring on the home front. I just thought the Dems would be too stupid to rally.
