Just the important ones. I believe energy independence is a top priority, as do other conservatives. As long as we are held hostage by Mexico, Venezuela and Saudi Arabia, we will continue to be at war in the middle east.
Jeb made that vote to suck up to some Democrats in NH. It didn't work. All it did was piss off his base.
He probably made the vote because there is a decent case to be made that the precident of opening up protected lands could cause some bad effects on environmental policy.
I'm for drilling because I think that in this case, the need is great and the damage would be minimal, but I do think there is some danger in setting a precident of 'unprotecting' lands that we suddenly decide we can make money off of. All I'm saying is it's not a clear-cut issue and it's not an issue that reasonable conservatives can't disagree on.
