The forces of treason scored a win, it must be admitted.
The problem in Iraq isn't the casulaties, it's a sense of a lack of forward motion. Head into Iran and Syria, like we should have in 2003.
it was said middle in here somewhere, but the two ends extreme liberal and very conservative is surrounded by the squishy middle. The media played the middle like a piano
I'm taking a week off from politics save el Rushbo......
and then watch ole Hillary, she will position herself as senate majority leader and thump Dubya daily WITH the media in full camera....and they will love her again.

Unless some rouge nation invades another, our troops our going only one place other than Iraq. And that is home.
I don't know about expanding the war, but I do believe if you fight a PC war, you get a BS result. Granted, Bush has been forced to tread a very fine line, because a lot of his allies in finding and killing the bad guys are moderate Muslim governments, and he can't afford to act or sound too hostile and tick them off. They stop cooperating and we're in a world of hurt.
But warfighting 101 says when you decide to go to war you go in with overwhelming force, with the intention of breaking lotsa stuff, killing lotsa bad guys and completely messing up the place. You know your enemy backwards and forwards and you don't worry about the peace until the war is decisively won. A lot of those rules were broken to a certain extent, so the winning part is taking longer than anybody anticipated. And the American people are not known for their patience, especially when very young and brave men and women are dying.
"The problem in Iraq isn't the casulaties, it's a sense of a lack of forward motion."
Sad but true.
