On the one hand, I am disgusted with the giddy, brain-dead liberals who will be dancing in the streets over their victory. On the other hand, I have a hard time feeling bad about all the lame Republicans getting booted out the door.

I agree wholeheartedly with you on the "lame" Republicans getting the boot; let that be a constant reminder to the ones who remain that they must do the bidding of the base FIRST.
With regard to the dancing liberals: I've been watching proud, self-proclaimed liberals acting like fools for a long time as they spouted conspiracy theories all over the place, proclaimed their self-righteous condemnation and hatred for all things conservative and celebrated like drunken hooligans after a soccer match when they won any political victory regardless of the cost to their integrity of ethics. I've always had no problem entirely ignoring their behavior as irrelevant to the happiness in my own life simply because I know better. They think that I should be as depressed and angry as they are all the time and it pisses them off to know that I never am.
