Well, I've lived through Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. I'm not happy about tonight's national results, but eating each other is not going to get the job done.

I know a lot of people that voted for Perot, and later said they regreted it. This election was not a good thing for us, but I don't think it's a good idea to start wailing. Fiscal conservatives need social conservatives, and we both need some moderates. From what I'm seeing, they're saying the Rats need 3 to control the Senate. I think they have them with VA, Missouri and Montana.

We'll dust ourselves off, pick up the pieces, and move forward. To tell the truth, whenever you see Democrats campaigning hard in NY, it's a bad night for the Rats, and when you see Republicans campaigning hard in Texas, it's a bad night for the Republicans.

Saddle up boys and girls. The world begins again tomorrow.
