I'm feeling very disconnected from so many people right now. I feel like disinviting the liberal friends that I have coming for Thanksgiving. Actually, they invited themselves. One friend, I don't think I will be even speaking to, and she didn't even vote. I just can't tolerate the stupidity.

I know how you feel. My husband and I don't even have liberal friends anymore. I think most of them are conservative or moderate, now that I think of it. I used to have some friends who I know were (are probably still) big libs, but as the years have gone one - and I've become more conservative - I just find that I no longer have anything in common with them.

We have a couple of good friends that we see all the time. They are non-FReepers, but the woman usually votes Republican... her husband has been kind of quiet whenever we all get to talking about politics. I think he's somewhat of a lib at times. We tell them about FR, Rush, Hannity, Fox News, etc. Everytime we go over to their house, though, CNN is on the television. I just don't get it...

remember.....life is NOT politics....life is your family, your friends, your interests, and its GOD.......

put things in perspective....

things were worse back in the 90's believe me.....much worse.....

I have to admit though that I often feel very disconected to society because it seems my values....worship, work, family, loving spouse, etc just don't mean much to many people....
