If you give the moderates something then you can push your conservative agenda once in office. If you lose, then you are out in the cold for a very long time. Younger conservatives don't seem to understand politics is give and take, not just all take.

Future of the party will that hard line immigration hurt the republicans. Plus Arnold wins, in CA, that means all republicans will be asked to become a moderate type of republican. Armey was already blasting conservatives christians.

I don't give when it comes to abortion, especially in the area of federal judges. Do you think I should compromise that just so "moderates" can get elected?
