And therein lies the problem. Several callers to radio shows I've heard tonight said they voted a straight dem ticket to "teach the Republicans a lesson".
The Republicans may be learning a lesson tonight, or they may be too blockheaded. Either way, we may not be able to weather two years minimum of Democrat control with things the way they are in the world today.
I'll be keeping a close eye on the stock market in the short term, and do what I need to to protect my 401K. Beyond that, time will tell.

Unfortunately, I don't think some Republicans willing to learn the lesson. And they're the ones running the party.
I have to wonder whether there was an effort to help certain Republicans lose, given the comments coming out of the White House tonight regarding border security. That was very dissappointing to hear.
