"Glens Falls"

My oldest son lives in Troy. I was born and raised in Rochester.

I was born and raised in Salem - not far from Glens Falls.

But I left when I was 18, and have been all over the place since then.

How's Glens Falls been doing? I remember hitch hiking to Glens Falls as a teenager, to go the library, which had quite a few more books then our town library, run by Helen Cruickshank, had in a little alcove above the fire house. She must have been 103 years old, or so it seemed to me at the time.

And my family would drive to Glens Falls occassionally to go to the "Monkey Wards" store (Montgomery Wards).
