W's still got his veto pen, and the Senate's going to hold. That means the SCOTUS is going to flip. Stevens and Ginsberg are out.
W is going to have to find that pen, though the issue is going to be budget. If Congress decides to cut funding to the troops, that will be the end for D's, probably permanently.
We're going to have to go to guns on Iran. Syria is going to attack Israel.
Historically, these shifts happen during mid-terms.
I don't think the world's going to implode, especially with the wingnuts that will be in charge there. Also, if you think we had issues with RINO's, wait until you meet the DINO's. Schuler, for example, is an evangelical Christian, which means he's probably pro-life. The R's actually recruited him to run, so I don't think Pelosi is going to get much traction for whatever agenda she might have.
Tax cuts are going to be another issue.
There will be a lot of horse-trading in the Congress. The Dem majority will be *slim* and a lot of the newcomers ran as moderates. The Dems will *have* to bargain. Fret not.
Time to rev up for some serious freeping. The Iraqis are going to have to take care of themselves a little bit ahead of time.
We need to stay on our game, folks. When you lose, don't lose the lesson. Eagles up.
