I think part of the problem is we are this great big powerful nation but we have our young soldiers getting blown to bits rolling around in humvees in backward desert towns, 3 + years after shock and awe.

It's not the war, it's the lack of killer instinct. If Bush kicked ass we'd be better off, electorally and more importantly, in the Mideast. Muzzie terrorists only understand brute force, not hand-holding and letting their fighters drift back into the population.

Why is everybody going off the deep end? I remember I went ballistic after the 1992 election, having an argument with my then-newlywed wife and storming off. In 1998, I surely thought there would be a GOP wave sweeping Clinton out of office, and instead there was some minor Democratic gains.

This fight never ends. Now that the House members are in the minority, they'll have to come up with new methods of fighting the Dhimmicrats. The Senate will still be GOP. This wasn't a huge blue wave. It was an impressive victory for the Dhimmicrats, but not a massive blue wave of monstrous proportions. If the GOP has any balls it won't result in Soldiers and Iraqis getting slaughtered by Mooslime terrorists.

Since the Reagan election of 1980, we tend to take 2-3 steps forward, but 1 step back. This year is our one step back. I for one am optimistic that the GOP was able to withstand the blue "wave" (more like fart-bubbles).
