I just now got this CNN Breaking news email:
CNN projects Democrats have picked up 15 House seats, giving them control of the House.
Well it was expected they would take the House. The important thing is that their majority stays low and that the Repubs keep the Senate.
15 seat pick-up for Dems is not a slaughter. Actually it's
better than expected not good but minimal damage captain.
One hopeful result of this is that Tom Reynolds from NY-26 will be relegated to being a backbencher. His handling of the Foley matter was unacceptable and he was one of the key folks in the House responsible for Republicans maintaining control of the House. I heard one of the ads the Reynolds was running and it in essence said "Reynolds brings home the bacon, Jack Davis will not".
