In my 51 years on this earth I have learned that life is full of ups and downs. This is a downer but not as bad for me as when Clinton beat Dole in 96. If anything it will give conservatives in the GOP a chance to regroup and chose new leaders more in step with our base. Besides the Dems will find a way to screw things up. I am out here in Missouri where as of now Jim Talent is leading with about 1/3 of the vote in. If Allen and Cokker also hold the line we may keep the Senate.
