One live thread isn't going to work, this isn't a presidential election. There are several threads in breaking news that might work. If you all have a better idea, let us know. Folks are interested in their specific state, and we're not about to have 50 breaking news threads.

Good evening.

Would you please quit being logical and efficient? Messes up the whole board.

How about a thread organized by ONLY the seats that matter to control........the up for grabs seats in house and senate?

That is a superb idea!

I never realized that Colorado closed their polls an hour and a half ahead of the rest of the Mountain Time Zone.

Here's the one live thread for all races. As I'm sure you've noticed, there are many other threads for regional races. Take your pick... :o)

Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my ‘miscellaneous’ ping list.

Fact is, on election night, it's been done a lot of different ways here on FR over the years.

There's always been one main thread with some other little ones following behind it (like chihuahuas chasing a mastiff).

Disjointed is not better.
