Both sites seem pretty up to date, though I notice ABC now has the breaking news header:

MONTANA SENATE RESULTS NOT EXPECTED UNTIL 8 A.M. ET, BECAUSE RECOUNT NEEDED IN YELLOWSTONE COUNTY

There will be no more national secrets... he'll make certain every one gets reported in the WaPo or SLimes.

Jay Rockefeller's been doing a pretty good job of that.

I wonder what the 7,000 libertarians think they're accomplishing?

Apparently a return to 9/10. Stan Jones never laid a kid glove on Tester during the debates. His whole platform was wide eyed conspiracy theories and GOP chicanery.

I don't remember anyone in 1994 really caring about the check kiting incident. Everyone was scared to death of Bill Clinton and his socialist programs so they voted in GOP members to keep him in check.

In 1992, Clinton ran as a conservative democrat and he carried large parts of the South. After he was elected and he no longer cared to hide his true socialist ideas, conservative democrats changed parties.

The GOP over the last 4 years or so has lost its way. It has enacted spending programs that Clinton could only dream of.

"I was a prophet before tonight."

Hear my prophecy. The Free People of Iraq are going down hard.

The only hope is the UN now, and I just don't think it will happen, unless they go in and make a deal with some Mmuzzy and let them take over in a peaceful manner. (meaning all the beheadings will be done off camera.)

I've noticed it's profoundly difficult to convince people that the whole rest of the country isn't obsessed with the same issues they are.

77% of precincts reporting

Tester Dem 139793 50%
Burns Rep* 133922 48%
Jones Lib 7102 2%

5871 vote difference now. But I hear Yellowstone County is Republican territory.

Rush Limbaugh was going apesh*t over the check kiting.

The Check Kiting scandal in the years prior to the election.

You really believe that the check kiting scandal turned the south into republican voters? Is that what the colleges are teaching now?

Man, Yellowstone County went nearly 2:1 for Bush in 2004. The websites just pulled all of the numbers from Yellowstone, and it's reporting 0% districts.

There were 67,000 votes out of Yellowstone COunty alone in 2004.

If 60% of those go to Burns, do I even need to tell you what that means!

Ahh see you are thinking off Republicans! Twas the Democrats turning on the check kiters in Dem strongholds that started that wave! Yes there were many motivated Republicans voters but there were just as many angry Democrats voters (not liberals but OLD Style Democrats)

Why then didn't that happen in the last few election cycles? The media has been doing that for quite some time. No, something more has happened in the last 2 years.

The memory of 9/11 is fading for so many people. The media has been far worse since the 2004 election too. They don't even try to hide it any longer.

According to the CNN electoral map it is an even county, it's coloured white rather than shades of red or blue...

the party actually returns to its roots (the right) after big defeats.

That is 9-10 thinking, friend.
