Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
They won't vote to cut and run, they know it is suicide. They will, however, make some gesture to appease their base, but only in a half-hearted way. They may not admit it, but they know cut and run and impeachment is political suicide. They will raise taxes for sure.
I get the feeling a lot of people are going to wake up tomorrow and say "Wow, maybe we should have voted."

Along that line, I didn't see it, but I read here that Rich Lowry of NRO said tonight in the wake of this defeat that as a result of it, Rumsfeld must resign. With pundits like that "on our side", who needs enemies?
Read the threads on FR. We've been eating our own here for two years, what makes anyone think we will do better in two more years if this keeps up? There is a time to be a purist, but '08 ain't it (and I'm not thinking McCain, I can't abide the man)...

An idiot behind me in line to vote today was telling the guy in front of me that he was voting Dem because "Bush :ied" about Iraq.
We KNOW this is a LIE, we HAVE THE PROOF that this is a lie, and yet the Dem MEdia Machine has driven this point home so often that it is now an accepted FACT...
VOTE FRAUD has become a Dem Institutional Right, but it's REPUBLICANS that are acused of "Stolen Elections"..
