I agree with you to a point. Historically, the Dems were were supposed to have bigger gains and, with the power of the modern media youdescribe, the gains for them stood to be historic. I think the bloggers helped immensely to rally the base and help staunch the loss in seats.
This wasn't a repeat of 1992 or 1994, as some in the opposition were expecting. It could have been worse. The Dems were certainly expectingbetter of themselves. And we had a chance to hold both houses but it wasn't to be.
We were motivated and jazzed and conifdent and while we didn't get what we wanted, we atill did a bit better than expected.
Talent is a jackass weasel... He was attacked by Fox and McCaskill and would never fight back. Sean had him on his radio show and Sean blasted McCaskill, and asked Talent for his view... he was beyond timid. What a loser

That is very interesting because while the vote totals changed by many thousands the vote percentages changed from:
Allen 49.44
Webb 49.36
to
Webb 49.44
Allen 49.36
They exactly flipped percentages.
