Ditto. They are the "shoot myself and everyone around me in the foot whenever possible" wing of the party.

"Gee, I'll teach you a lesson, George Bush, by having my taxes raised and our military starved."

Buncha dumbasses.

Never, ever, will I vote for McCain again. I will leave the ballot blank but I will not vote McCain...

Loudoun Co went for Webb. That's not good.

It's a bad night to run as a Republican, unfortunately.

I can only surmise this was a national election, not local. The Dem candidates did not espouse any vision or set of goals that I know of - anywhere. In fact, they mostly ran non-descript folks with military or conservative veneers to stand next to the GOP opponent (whether they be conservative or RINO or moderate or whatever) and say "the only difference is we are not with George Bush".

Does anyone realize gas prices are down, the economy is booming, we have good new judges, etc? It has to be all about Iraq, has to be. That's all I can figure, the rest is a mystery to me.

The biggest loosers are our military men and women who have sweated blood, sweat, and tears to give 2 nations freedom. Now, America, has fecklessly turned her back on our best. Al Quaeda cheers along with the democrats at the results tonight. What a crying shame to send them, work them like government mules, then snatch all of their work away and say 'never mind'. We will rue this day ever came to us.

Don't give up! We need to hold the Democratic House accountable, and most importantly, watch to see where they move. If they move too far left, that opens it up for a bludgening in 2008.

They are already far left and they don't give a hoot what you or I have to say

They one the election tonight and they will shove every dang one of their agendas down our throats

Get use to it .. it's reality

Uh, no, it's the RINOs who have led this party off the cliff. Try again. If that continues, the Republicans will stay a minority party in the House and become one in the Senate.

You and your friends are taking EXACTLY the wrong lession from tonight's results. We'll see who history proves correct.

Good evening, onyx.

At least it WAS, for a while.

Oh...well...we still have the POTUS..and maybe the GOP Senators that are left will get MAD...and NOT let the Dems walk all over them..like they have been doing.

Yeah...that's the ticket! Move the party back to the country-club, so-called moderate, left leaning "get along to go along" spineless track just to get invited to the next cocktail party.

The old "let's just keep the Dems to only 75% of what they want and we win!" ploy eh?

My, my...
Talent is almost certainly lost - he is running way behind his 2002 numbers, and even then it was close.
Burns probably is toast in Montana.

VA goes to recount, and the only hope is indeed in absentee ballots, but for that Allen has to stay within 1500-2000 votes from Webb.
Looks like GOP has lost Senate as well.

Well, GWB has his veto pen somewhere, I hope.

>>>What the hell happenedto PA today? Santorum lost big and huge loses in the house races.<<<

Pennsylvania has enormous voter fraud in the black-dominated cities (e.g., Philly and Pittsburg). Clean up the voting those cities and Pennsylvania will be a Republican state.
