It's not just your state.
In any state if a Repub gets 20% of the black vote, that's HUGE.

I think that's true anywhere, frankly. It's very, very monolithic, as they say.

Your "out of stater" analysis doesn't hold water. In my own state, the same phenomenon prevails, as it does in much of the country. Cut it as you will, 20%--while marginally more than the 6-12% black vote for a Republican that might usually prevail--is not "big-time".
It's still pathetically small.
