They are ALWAYS for a single-payer, i.e., socialized, medicine, even now when market forces and patent laws are causing prices to fall, as in the case of Wal-Mart's $4.00 generics.

Walked away last week and they were $2.00.

I wish the prescription benefit had not been enacted.

There were that year so many drugs ready to go off patent, and really good, cutting edge drugs, that you could manage almost everybody with an ensemble of generics, or one could foresee doing so really soon.

$2.00 drugs... amazing.

Let's hope people get a taste of what the free market can do to medical costs and they will give up on single-payer forever.

Everybody except the commies in the journals.
