I'm actually feeling a little better about my Boston North End neighborhood after taking a stroll up the 4 or 5 block long main street after voting.
It was almost exclusively Healey/Hillman (R) for Gov. & Lt.Gov. and Larry Frisoli (R) for Atty. Gen. signs. The Republicans had the biggest signs in choice locations. I was shocked that I'm living on a little red island in the big blue MA.
Here's a quickie montage I made:
The first row is all of the Paul Revere Mall, probably the best location. There was no Democrat sign presence.
The rest of the pictures are along and around Hanover St., the main street.
Sorry for blurriness, it's a dinky camera, I was trying keep moving and not be too conspicuous.
Most shop windows did have a small 2'x1' Sal DiMasi (D), Speaker of the Massachusetts House sign, but this is his home neighborhood so that's to be expected.
Sadly, the only defaced sign I saw was a Sal DiMasi (D) sign. I say sadly, because I hold Republicans to a higher standard.
