Those of you who do not live in Massachusetts / New England may not know the godsend Howie Carr.

His common sense, sharp wit and encyclopedic knowledge of where the "bodies," both figurative and literal, are buried around here is amazing.

Without him we couldn't even laugh.

Howie is seen occasionally on C-SPAN (he did a "Brothers
Bulger" lecture that was on their Book TV); he was interviewed on 60 Minutes, and occasionally he makes appearances on TV, etc.

For awhile he did some Saturday afternoon shows on KFI in LA
(via phone line!) and for awhile, his show was in such
far flung places as Salt Lake City; Maryland; Wichita;
Wisconsin, and Florida. Now he's on a dozen or so stations
in New England plus online. (His affiliates list is
inaccurate--doesn't mention WVMT Burlington VT or
WCRN Worcester MA--I emailed them...)
