"By the time I left the number of Deval sign holders had grown into a sea of moonbats all waving their signs. "

As Howie's latest soundclip says...
MOOOOOONBAT!

"the Hynes Convention Center was festooned with Deval Patrick signs, inside and out. Not one other type of sign. The Hynes is city property...is this legal?"

The response would be "no, but it is OK for us".

"On the way to the Boston Public Library to vote was accosted by four so called homeless people asking me for money."

They are not homeless. Deval would call them domicile challenged.

"Outside the library about 20 people holding Deval signs. Most were 20 year olds."

And if you ask why they support Deval, they'll start jumping up and down shouting 'Deval is THE MAN... Deval is THE MAN...'

"My ballot was in both Spanish and English."

Must me a mistake. The ballot is usually in 17 languages...

I kid you not - not ONE Kerry-Heally sign. I really wish I had an opportunity to hold one among those muckholes.

Its just such a scene around here.
Watching everyone walking around with moonbat smiles plastered on their faces and Deval buttons. From the well dressed to the scraggly Woodstock reenactors.
No one seems to recall the Mike Dukakis years.

flipping through channels--Chris Matthews saying to Olbermann:
"If Republicans have a big night, the world will say that both the US government and the people support this war; if the
Democrats have a big night, the world will say that while
the President supports the war he doesn't have the support
of his people" etc.

the world. the world! A liberal mantra--what will the world
think of us?

>>Levin Lounge

We know that DePetro got fired by WRKO and for this week at least, Todd Fineburg is covering that morning show. I think
the Pundit Review guys are on at 7. Wonder if 'RKO should
pick up the Levin show? Of course it's be pre-empted by
Red Sox and Celtics a lot.

Picture:
9 am Todd Fineburg
noon Rush
3 pm Howie
7 pm Mark Levin
9 pm maybe some Glenn Beck tape delayed
etc.

...? (or maybe WTKK will eventually pick him up--I think
he's syndicated by Westwood One and they run W1 shows)

I have TV on with sound down, and look who's on MSNBC:
Bob Shrum. Remember him...?

>>"Can I be the first to call you Mr. President?" -- John Kerry strategist Bob Shrum after seeing the first exit poll results

Bob Shrum, long time Democratic strategist with an 0-7 record in presidential elections.

but entire country too. Howie is only on certain stations

Was in VT this weekend. Tons of Bernie signs--heard he's
worshipped by the moonbats up there. Some guy sells Bernie
memorabilia (saw ad for it) and someone painted a Bernie
mural on a garage or something (just off Rt 30 in Pawlet,
near intersection of 30 & 133...). His ads all over the
radio (that NY accent of his: Hoy! Oym Boynie Sandizz...)

Heard the tail-end of Howie's show tonight... Some idiot who I assume is a Republican (he likes Howie's show) called in to say that he and his wife were staying at home (not voting) because 'they don't want to be responsible for what happens in this election.' Geesh... how stupid can you get?! Howie pleaded with him to go out and vote, but he didn't plead THAT hard.

I'm slightly 'miffed' over Howie's "Muffy treatment" of Kerry Healy over the years... some of that could be coming home to roost tonight...

not ONE Kerry-Heally sign

I'm actually feeling a little better about my Boston North End neighborhood after taking a stroll up the 4 or 5 block long main street after voting.

It was almost exclusively Healey/Hillman (R) for Gov. & Lt.Gov. and Larry Frisoli (R) for Atty. Gen. signs. The Republicans had the biggest signs in choice locations. I was shocked that I'm living on a little red island in the big blue MA.

Here's a quickie montage I made:
The first row is all of the Paul Revere Mall, probably the best location. There was no Democrat sign presence.
The rest of the pictures are along and around Hanover St., the main street.
Sorry for blurriness, it's a dinky camera, I was trying keep moving and not be too conspicuous.

Most shop windows did have a small 2'x1' Sal DiMasi (D), Speaker of the Massachusetts House sign, but this is his home neighborhood so that's to be expected.

Sadly, the only defaced sign I saw was a Sal DiMasi (D) sign. I say sadly, because I hold Republicans to a higher standard.

True though as Howie and his listeners are saying now, her
ad campaign was not run well (maybe she should have put forth a whole bunch of "positive" ads to introduce her to the
voters, then run the "garage" ad--the Deval-is-soft-on-crime
one). And as Howie said people don't read newspapers like they used to--they needed to read just how bad Deval was on stuff
like this. Instead they just see the ad and go, "oh,
it's a negative ad--that turns me off so much!"

Usually negative ads work but not this time. People are
turning away from the truth? What I really can't believe
is when it's said people agree with Kerry's positions
but don't like her, while they don't necessarily agree
with Deval's positions but like him (and would vote for him). Whaaaaa...?????

Geesh, I don't get that either. One caller to Howie's show a few weeks ago - who sounded conservative and intelligent - said he wouldn't vote for Kerry Healey because "I just can't listen to that voice for the next four years". So, although he agrees with her positions on the issues, he won't be voting for her.

Then there's the couple staying home because they "don't want to be responsible" for the impending bad result.

What's in the water up there in Massachusetts???
