Breaking: (Possible) Philly Fraud (Not Confirmed Yet)
Redstate ^

Posted on 11/07/2006 6:55:08 AM PST by Weight of Glory

In precincts 7, 19, 51 in Philly, PA, the crowds are going wild. Inside several voting locations, individuals have poured white out onto the polling books and the poll workers are allowing voters to go into the polls and vote without first registering. Several individuals are on hand demanding that voters vote straight Democrat.

RNC lawyers have headed to the scene of the incidents, which are occurring in mostly hispanic precinct locations. The District Attorney has also been contacted.

Oh, how I wish every place was like our town. When hubby and I walked into the polling place (Baptist Church), we were greeted by name, chatted for awhile with the poll workers, not being able to tell who was dim and who was Repub. We voted by computer and I questioned about backup. They told me that there are five ways to cover any mistakes or glitches on the machine. We were given a little tab with a scan code on it and after we voted, we gave that back to the poll worker. It has our information on it proving that we voted. There are also paper printouts and five different cards per machine. I felt pretty good about my vote. All Republican BTW. I always take great pleasure in voting against "Big Daddy" Byrd.

Im not worried about Iraq's civil war I see one coming closer to home.

I have been thinking and feeling the same way for a couple of years now. I keep hoping that we, as a country do not melt down into a chaotic cesspool.

Are these Dem or Pub precincts? If its a Pub, wouldn't surprise me if this was planned to get all the votes tossed.

I love the smell of unsubstantiated hysteria in the morning.

LOL! It not even noon and we already have the FR Quote of the Day!

And I just may steal that for a tagline...

Yeah. I'm skeptical until more confirmation. Seems kinda early in the voting day for this kind of behavior. I wouldn't expect it to start until at least 6pm.

It takes 100 posts for someone to utter sanity.

Facts, first! Soros and company want us to distrust the electoral system.

If this is true the perps should be arrested and prosecuted mercilessly - to the fullest extent of the law.

Incidents like this one, if true, suggest that not enough attention is being paid to "the enemies inside". For example, tracking of what goes on in the cesspools of the Middle East, especially in the non-English media, including TV, radio, newspapers, blogs and other web sites, is performed by groups such as MEMRI (and perhaps Jihad Watch).

Also, there is plenty of attention paid to some left-wing enemies such as nutcase media, blogs, etc., by 'citizen journalists', at least when the sources are published in English and publicly distributed rather than passed discreetly through private networks (although there may be gaps in areas such as deep inside the eco-terror movement).

Are there similar citizen-journalist-based reporting and monitoring efforts paying attention to apparently organized criminal elements such as the ones that appear to be behind the acts described in this post? Maybe the 'Minutemen' or similar groups are already doing that work?

Spilling white-out on the voter rolls, followed by letting anyone and everyone vote without checking their eligibility, if actually happening as alleged, is the kind of criminal act that requires a conspiracy to be effective - for example, if I were to try such a stunt at my local polling place, there would not be crowds of purportedly ineligible-to-vote illegal aliens who "just happened" to show up and cast votes. Rather, it must have been planned and organized and publicized in advance. How? By word of mouth? By fliers posted on telephone poles or in neighborhood stores? By pirate radio stations? By more powerful shadow organizations, such as gangs or unions or political bosses? By the local Democrat party establishment, with inside help at the polling places?

I'm not advocating a police-state-like internal intelligence gathering and spying effort. Rather, I'm wondering whether individual citizens, who speak the language and know the local landscape, are capable of monitoring and reporting on such activities. There was a time when traditional newspapers and other media might have played such a role, but it's not clear that they are up to (or interested in) the task...

That's a thought. I know there's some question about the validity of the reports but all I've heard about Dem tactics to swing the election just makes me sick.

I'm becoming convinced that Philadelphia should be broken off the state of Pennsylvania.

I'll have to agree with you on that. All due respect to Philadelphia FReepers, but I think we should vote to give it to NJ.
