Found out last night that 2 men in our small town of Frisco, Texas was two of the 20 men in the metroplex that were involved in the sting. Yikes!

I don't know the merits of the case, and neither does anyone else outside the prosecutor's office. The case was not brought to trial. But I am troubled by private and largely unaccountable entities, e.g., Dateline NBC, spearheading police sting operations.

I never realized that there were that many men out there pursuing sex with teenage girls and boys. And then to hear about Congressman Foley and now the Reverend in CO Spgs (at least he was messing with a full fledge adult but gee). It's really disgusting and sad. I just don't understand people. I don't understand why a man would risk everything for sex. It just seems like everyone is a pervert these days.

This is an inevitable result of being incluuuuusive and non-judgeMENtal (in my Michael Savage imitation voice) . . . as we open the doors of power to perverts and deviants. I hope dateline goes with the show anyway. Showing the perp on the floor with a self-inflicted bullet wound might be an even more powerful deterent than the normal episode ending shot of the perp being hand-cuffed and frog-marched off.

There's a video online of a PA politician who called a press conference after having been convicted on one or more charges of corruption.He pulled a pistol out of a paper bag and shot himself in the mouth on live TV.

I keep waiting to hear about stories of groups of private citizens using Perverted Justice tactics to find and execute predators. It's my hope that cops that turn up evidence of such a thing will just keep quiet about it, and let the citizenry do what the police have been crippled from doing.
