GET OUT AND VOTE A STRAIGHT GOP TICKET TODAY!!!
#137 here at St. Louis Park Precinct in MN (7:30AM). Straight ticket R, but I think voting for the I in the race against Ellison may have helped (probably not). Long line, but that may have as much to do with fewer voting booths than a Presidential year. Still pretty darn good volume.
Election judges had everything running very smoothly checking ID's and such.
One guy was complaining that it takes too long to fill in ballots with pen and why we don't use markers...not a bad question, but was whiney about it.
My "get out of Iraq" neighbor was walking in as I was walking out.

I'm an election Judge and working the polls from 2:00 to close. I'll be sure to add any anecdotes. I voted absentee - straight (R). WOOT!

I voted at 11:00 this morning in the north metro. I overheard one election official say that since 7am when they opened and 11am when I voted, they had already had 600 voters. I didn't have to wait in line, but the polling station was full and there was a steady stream of voters in and out. Seemed similar to 2004 election day.
