CT this year is an extreme case. The GOP put up a candidate that had no chance at all to win the election, probably so they could just get him out of the way for future races.
Very true - hopefully they're going to re-invest some time to run Schlesinger against Dodd - he's smart, he's optimistic, and he wiped both of them on the floor at the debates. If we could finally unseat Dodd it would be a great day in CT.
Schlesinger seems like a great candidate and it was just painful to watch because he seemed to be the smartest guy up on stage, yet you knew he didn't really have a chance against Lamont and Libermann. I hope that he runs again for something.
