FYI.. I read something a few days back ( and I'm sorry I can't remember where it was from ) but some academic did a study of why and how the 2004 exit polls were so wrong, and he found that the ones that were off by the greatest margin from the actual results were those exit polls conducted by...ta da...wait for it..rim shot!!...female graduate students..

if the exits polls are bad news for the GOP, they will leak like cajun levees. if they are good news for republicans, no one will hear about them. ever. Zackly.

There's a dense, gray fog blanketing Chicago, with patchy drizzle .... I'm holding onto a slim hope that it will lower the Dims turnout. It may affect the "get out the vote" teams and cars that ferry and cart all the handout-loving, union-worshipping robots and cemetary-dwellers here with the reduced visibility and road conditions... I pray pray pray.
And .. I'm praying for enought to hold, like 2004
Please keep praying, everyone. May God bless US with a miracle, and a future safe and free from the Clinton, Pelosi, Rangel, Conyers, Biden, Fwanks crew and all the garbage in their sack of tricks.

Turns out the consortium got desperate in 2004 and had to result to getting workers via 'Craigs List' (liberal internet board) then they oversamples Dim women by about 59-41.
Hence, the early numbers predicting Scarry's victory

fool me three times with fraudulent exit polls, and I, p-marlowe, will believe you drive by media." Dane, you are a liar!
There is no other word for someone who deliberately and willfully misrepresents someone else's position on this issue as you have done mine.
Please do not ping me to your asinine posts anymore and do not post to me anymore.... EVER!
Thank you. I will return the favor.

Could you exclude the teenagers doing it for extra credit in Social Studies? They're the only ones I talk to.In that case you can shoot their teachers.

I don't believe that 'fear' has anything to do with it.
But why should we knowingly post lies on this forum?
And why discuss those lies in seriousness?
This is a GOOD call by the Mods. An INTELLIGENT call, IMO.....

But why should we knowingly post lies on this forum?I thought that is what this forum was all about. We post the lies the MSM puts out and we refute them with facts and intelligent discussion. We don't bury our heads in the sand and pretend that nobody is out there distorting the truth.
If we were only to post the accurate information that the MSM puts out and ignore their lies, then we would never have anything to discuss here.
I think it is important to know who is leaking what information, where it is being leaked and what we can to do refute it. This "no comment" rule will simply allow those who wish to spread disinformation to do it without challenge. I thought Free Republic was here to challenge misinformation, not to hide from it. Perhaps I missed something somewhere.

My personal exit poll from Colorado having voted early last week. Straight (R) ballot. In the city of Boulder and Boulder Country races with a (d) and a libertarian only I voted (L).
