No news is good news. Let the levers do the talking.

Thanks, I hadn't thought about having to work nonstandard shifts as a reason for early voting, I've been self employed for too long.
I didn't say I was against early voting, just didn't understand it.
I still don't see how, or if, it differs from the existing mechanism of absentee voting, but it doesn't matter, you got to vote is the important thing.

Why in the world do you want or need to discuss something that has proven to be fraudulent and inaccurate in the past? Then why should we discuss anything the MSM puts out? Since nearly everything they print or show on TV is fraudulent and inaccurate, then we should just ignore it. We should only discuss stories in the news that are accurate and not biased.

Exit polls for the last three election cycles have been wrong!!!Which is why WE should not be AFRAID to discuss them here.

Which is why WE should not be AFRAID to discuss them here. Why should fraudulent exit polls be discussed anymore. Might as well have every article from the "National Enquirer" be breaking news, according to your "logic".

If this counts as an exit poll you can yank it. The local high school was conducting a poll outside the precinct where I vote. Probably as a part of their radio/Cabel TV department. Since it was a beautiful little blond I agreed to be interviewed. She looked at me a little funny when I said "against Ford" when she asked about the Senate race. I peeked at the results and as of 7:05 today the uber red precinct had Corker 3 and Ford zero!

ENTHUSIASM RULES!!!! President Bush, at his polling place this morning, looked into the camera and asked us to do our duty, go out and vote. He is working hard to protect America from terrorists and has stood strong through the years of unrelenting dumb and incompetent descriptions thrown at him. We will win this war in Iraq and we will not allow the Democrats to gain control. If you love America and our way of life, get on with it, VOTE REPUBLICAN. No excuses.

You've confused me, Dane. Are you agreeing or disageeing with me? I misread your reply #230, so please accept my apology.
But the fact that the drive by media says they are not going to relaease any exit polls, doesn't mean that the rabid liberal commies in the American media won't "release" fraudulent exit polls.
There is an old adage, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" and that adage could be added to FReepers, such as p-marlowe, "fool me three times with fraudulent exit polls, and I, p-marlowe, will believe you drive by media."

Just voted in Western Michigan. Big Republican district. Per polling person very high turnout. Spoke to the person doing the exit polls( CNN AP CBS ALL OTHER) and asked how it was going( nice person) He said it sucked. He had to get 30 responses on how they voted per the turnout and he had 60 people who would not talk to him. He had the list of rejections and showed it to me. Not sure what that means other then do not trust the exit polls. He said this was very high

I frankly think that exit pollers should be shot on sight.Could you exclude the teenagers doing it for extra credit in Social Studies? They're the only ones I talk to.

Shouldn't that be DON'T POST EXIT POLLS? ;)or is it "DON'T POLL EXIT POSTS?"
